Last month I presented the “Fractured Kaleidoscope” project to students in my Therapeutic Arts Program at the Blue Ridge Music Therapy Center. Using crayon and watercolor on watercolor paper, students created a beautiful and colorful image by following this series of basic steps.

Mundana Music Therapy and Time for Music is collaborating to create a series of music therapy song books featuring original music by different music therapists and music therapy students. The first book in the series will be called “Greetings and Goodbyes”. Josh Hauck, one of my students, created several songs to be featured in the book, including “Are You Ready For the Weekend?”. Josh composed this song independently and it will be included in the book along with the sheet music. Josh is also working on launching his own website of music services called “Note for Note”. It will feature Josh’s other social songs, compositions, and arrangements. More updates to come on the book and Josh’s website! Josh is the featured soloist on this recording.
