Time for Music is the private practice and business of Wade M. Richards, LCAT, NMT, MT-BC. A graduate of S.U.N.Y. at Fredonia, Wade has been a Board-Certified Music Therapist for over 14 years. He has additional training in Neurologic Music Therapy from the Biomedical Center for Music Research in Colorado and Performance Wellness under Louise Montello, LP, LCAT, MT-BC. Wade pursued training in Orff-Schulwerk from Eastman School of Music, University of Kentucky, and Arizona State University. Wade is the also the
Chair and Internship Director of the Music Therapy Department at Hochstein School of Music & Dance, and serves on the music education faculty at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.
Currently, Megan Coltoniak, MT-BC, Kim Thompson, MT, Maria Hancock, LCAT, MT-BC, and Joe Kostecki, MT-BC are music therapists contracted with Time for Music.
Combined, Megan, Kim, Maria, Joe, and Wade service a variety of school districts in Monroe, Livingston, and Wayne counties in New York state.
Services We Provide
Time for Music provides music therapy services, performance wellness classes, and creative Orff-Schulwerk music classes to a variety of school districts, private schools, and adult programs. Presentations, workshops, and inservices on a variety of topics can be scheduled for your business, school, or agency. Time for Music also provides original song and resource books, podcast, song downloads, and other materials for music therapists and music educators.
